Why We Built This Site
West Virginia makes several record layers public, but each office controls only its own part. The Wirt Sheriff keeps agency reports, WVDCR handles regional custody, Magistrate Court records misdemeanors and early felony events, and the Circuit Clerk preserves felony files and final orders. The State Police CIB maintains fingerprint-linked history, while the state registry has its own disclosure law. We arrange the verified contacts, official portals, costs, and request paths by custodian.
